Understanding the roots of your patterns CAN CHANGE THE WAY YOU MOVE THROUGH LIFE

You may look like you're doing well from the outside while internally feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, uncertain, or stuck in patterns you don't fully understand.

Maybe you find yourself overthinking your relationships, struggling to trust yourself, feeling anxious about the future, or wondering why experiences from your past continue to affect the way you connect with yourself and others.

Therapy can be a place to slow down, become curious about these patterns, and understand where they came from—not so that you can stay stuck in the past, but so that you can have more choice in how you move forward.

I'm Sarah Ryan, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified EMDR Therapist licensed in Washington and California. I specialize in attachment trauma and relational difficulties, and I particularly enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, self-worth, relationship concerns, & family-of-origin experiences, and life transitions.

I also have advanced training in Perinatal Mental Health and support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and the emotional transition into motherhood.

My approach integrates a variety of modalities including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, parts work, somatic experiencing, & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Together, we'll develop an approach that fits your goals, your experiences, and the person you are becoming.

You don't have to figure it all out alone.

Therapy can help you understand the patterns underneath your anxiety, relationships, and emotional experiences so that you can move toward greater self-trust, connection, and security.
